Asphalt Art for Pedestrian Safety on Water St., Village of Fredonia

The Water Street Public Art Steering Committee is seeking an artist to design and create painted curb extensions, or “bump outs” at a location where pedestrians frequently cross Water Street in the Village of Fredonia. The painted bump outs will be part of a larger project that includes street mill and overlay, crosswalks and ADA improvements. The design should be bold and colorful, engaging to pedestrians and highly visible to vehicle traffic. Responses are due by August 30th, 2024.
