Please join representatives from the US Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, National Resources Conservation Service, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and NY State Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (NYSDHES) for an information session on programs communities can take advantage of to reduce and mitigation impacts from flood events.
During this presentation, the following items will be addressed:
- Federal and State programs,
- funding and cost sharing,
- how to request assistance, and
- opportunities for future efforts.
The event will be held in the first floor conference room of the Center for Innovation and Economic Development (formerly the “SUNY Fredonia Incubator”), 214 Central Avenue in Dunkirk, NY on February 13 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
