Bringing Affordable Solar Energy to Low-Income Households

The Solar for All Program, part of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund administered by EPA, will provide $7 billion in funds for residential and residential-serving community solar projects for low-income households. The program recently announced 60 winners, including 49 state-level awards (ex. a state department of energy), six awards to Tribes, and five mult-istate awards to nonprofits. Together these awards provide national coverage.

Each grant winner will soon set up their own specific Solar for All program, which local governments can use for residential community solar projects, such as installing rooftop solar for multi-family affordable housing owned by the city. This webinar will discuss how cities can apply for Solar for All funding or financing for eligible projects.
