NFIP Compliance Issues in NYS

This course uses case studies discovered throughout NYS to discuss the most common compliance issues. The class will discuss some of the success stories a variety of state personnel have had in correcting some of the compliance issues found throughout the state. Topics covered in this course include methods of determining compliance issues, common property violations, remedying violations, and enforcement options.
