Tornado Preparedness for the Whole Community

Join the Region 2 National Preparedness Division for a webinar discussion on Tornado Preparedness featuring the NJ State Climatologist.
This webinar will discuss tornadoes, both in a general sense as they impact the US and more specific to the mid-Atlantic. This will include the science behind them, ways to prepare for a potential threat, what to do immediately prior to and during a tornadic storm, and how to respond to the immediate aftermath. Historic examples of twisters will be presented as will thoughts regarding how climate change may impact the frequency and intensity of tornadic storms in the mid-Atlantic.
