Fundamental to the effective completion of a trail project is quality leadership. In this webinar we will highlight leadership characteristics and your role in the context of a trail project. Preparation and planning are essential characteristics of successful crew leaders, considerations for what you can do before, during and after a project will be discussed. We will explore what a typical “Day in the Life” of a trail crew leader might look like covering topics like group dynamics, tool management and delegating tasks. If you are a new trail crew leader you will certainly pick up some new tools to add to your crew leader toolbox. Experienced veteran crew leaders will be provided with a fresh perspective on the value of what they are doing and why.
